New CAMASEJ Y’de exco pledges to enhance members’ professional aptitude….

He was speaking while unveiling the roadmap of his team. Ajumane and his team were elected into office unchallenged, for a four-year mandate on January 25. The election held at the CAMASEJ National Secretariat in Yaounde.

The process unfolded under the watchful eyes of CAMASEJ National Financial Secretary, Nanji Pelagie Nonga, and the Public Relations Officer, Wanchia Cynthia Nchang.

The CAMASEJ National envoys then installed the new team into office with a call for them to do their utmost to uphold the values of the association.

Promise to lead people-oriented mandate 

In a message to members after taking office, Ajumane who is a multimedia journalist with close to two decades of experience, expressed gratitude to members for the confidence bestowed on him and his team.

“We feel extremely humbled,” said Ajumane, who is a Research Officer at the Corporate Communications Unit of Cameroon Telecommunications, CAMTEL.

“I thank members of CAMASEJ Yaounde for giving me this opportunity to lead the association. It is a huge task to lead such a prestigious chapter and I feel we are up to the task,” he added.

Ajumane who has promised to lead a people-oriented mandate, seized the opportunity to call on all members to federate forces in order to “move our chapter to higher heights”.

“We cannot do all we have envisaged without the support of the members. We count on their commitment and we believe together we will take CAMASEJ Yaounde to greater heights,” he appealed.

Harps on short, long-term plans 

Ajumane promised to, together with his team, immediately swing into action and soft talk those who long abandoned the chapter to return to the fold.

“The idea is first of all to get back to basics by bringing every member on board. Our success relies on members adhering to and being committed to our vision,” he explained.

Zooming on his long-term plans, Ajumane said focus will be on “enhancing the professional aptitude of our members through regular trainings and other professional activities”.

Acknowledge the crucial and decisive nature of 2025 with major elections billed to take place, Ajumane said his team hopes to “play an active role by ensuring its members are responsible in carrying out their duties”.

He said his team will also work on reinforcing the social component of the chapter, which he described as an important tool in strengthening our bond”.

Zoom on new executive team 

Ajumane Francis, it should be said, replaces Ndi Eugene Ndi, as CAMASEJ Yaounde President.

He will be assisted by a dynamic team comprising; Irene Manti as Vice President, Bizel-Bi Mafor as Secretary General, Albert Njebusi as Assistant Secretary General, Fawoh Nancy as Financial Secretary and Etienne Mainimo as Assistant Financial Secretary.

Other members of the team include Brenda Yufeh as Treasurer, Louvier Kindo as Public Relations Officer, Beng Emmanuel as Social Secretary and Hycenth Chia as Auditor.
