Fostering Collaboration: CAMASEJ Bamenda chapter meets with North West Governor
The Executive members of the Cameroon Association of English-Speaking Journalists, CAMASEJ Bamenda chapter, accompanied by the Regional Delegate of Communication, Njike Celestine, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of the North West region, Adolphe Lele Lafrique, on Wednesday June 4, 2025.
The visit aimed to introduce the new executive to the Governor, bridge the gap between the administrative authorities, and enhance fruitful collaboration in terms of information dissemination.

After the introduction of the entire team, led by CAMASEJ Bamenda chapter President, Sah Terence, the Governor commended the team for taking the time to visit his office.
During discussions on professional issues including peace reporting in the context of the North West region, Governor Adolphe Lele Lafrique urged the team to be responsible messengers by upholding journalistic principles of balance and fairness, and supporting the State in the peace-building process.

The visit concluded with Chapter President Sah Terence briefing the Governor on some of the key projects being implemented by the association, and the donation of a symbolic plant to the representative of the State.
